The Oxnard Gem & Mineral Society in conjunction
with the Oxnard College Foundation awards The Ray Meisenheimer
Scholarship each year in the amount of $1,000.00.
Awardees must meet the following standards to
qualify for the scholarship award:
1. Be
a full-time student at Oxnard College,
2. Have
earned a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale,
3. Be
a U.S. citizen or have a permanent resident status,
4. Be
pursuing a certificate, degree or transfer to a baccalaureate institution,
5. Be
enrolled in Earth Sciences, Geology, or a directly related field.
The recipient of The Ray Meisenheimer
Scholarship will be selected from qualified candidates nominated by the Oxnard
College Foundation. The Scholarship
will be distributed to the awardee according the
Foundation’s normal scholarship policies.
