thank you and all the volunteers who worked so tirelessly to put on that
fabulous Rock and Mineral Show!! Will

for such a wonderful experience at your annual Rock and Mineral Show!! As a teacher
who is planning a rock and mineral unit
for fourth grade students, I found a virtual treasure trove of
information, helpful people, activities that I can use in my classroom and
invaluable resources! I came away
from the day with rock samples that now fill my room. My students can touch
and explore now, sharpening their skills at noticing rock and mineral
characteristics. Now when I teach
about luster or the Mohr's Scale, they run to find examples that illustrate
what we are talking about! I can't wait
to check out the rock box from the library to further my students knowledge
of rocks and minerals. I learned a
ton, met wonderful people, and came away from the day with my questions
answered and my enthusiasm for the subject enhanced by the experience. Thanks a
million for all you do, for both teachers and students alike!! You're the
best!!!! |
